Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Lauren Boebert of Colorado, both known for their far-right views, had a disagreement on Monday regarding the selection of the next House speaker.

During a conference hosted by Turning Point USA in Phoenix, Boebert criticized Greene for supporting current House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California for the position.

Boebert stated, “I’ve been aligned with Marjorie and accused of believing a lot of the things that she believes in,” She went on to add, “I don’t believe in this just like I don’t believe in … Jewish space lasers,” referencing one of Greene’s most widely-ridiculed conspiracy theories.

Greene responded on Twitter, stating that Boebert's actions were reminiscent of "high school drama."

Greene also pointed out that Boebert had won reelection by a narrow margin, stating, "She just barely came through by 500 votes."
