Lisa Miller went to the hard knocks school of home renovation. She grew up in a 120 year old farmhouse that was under perpetual construction and found out what sub-flooring was before she started wearing make up. She loves breathing new life into old homes and second-hand furniture, being eco-friendly, and banishing chemicals and toxins she can't pronounce from her home.
By day she teaches kindergarten and by evening she devises new ways to drive her tabby cat Mr. Henderson crazy with a laser pointer. She is a proud member of a co-op grocery store and her favorite breakfast is oat flour crepes with nutella and fresh strawberries.
Lisa dreams of raising chickens in her backyard and cooking every meal at home from scratch, but she's not there yet. Not even close really, but a girl can dream, right?
