A Fun Afternoon Interrupted By A Scary Stranger
Julianna, 11, remembered what her parents taught her when she had to protect her 6-year-old brother, Hayden, from possibly being abducted.
A scary situation that happened one sunny afternoon left both Julianne and her parents shaken.
Outside their home in the Cleveland suburb of Old Brooklyn, Julianne and her brother were playing outside together when a man approached them.
According to Julianne, he mumbled something she could not understand before suddenly walking off. She was briefly alarmed but didn’t think anything else of the situation and resumed playing with her little brother.

Big Sister Thinks Quickly and Moves Even Quicker
Several minutes passed, and the man came back again, but this time, instead of speaking, he grabbed little Hayden and began dragging him out of the yard by his hand.
Julianne, remembering what her father had taught her, quickly grabbed her brother from the man and ran to her father, who was just around the house in their backyard.
Because of Julianne’s bravery and quick thinking, her brother has been saved from a possibly harmful, or even fatal, situation.
When Julianne and her brother approached the father, they quickly told him what happened. The father, Joshua, went around the house and called out to the man, who was quickly walking away, but the man only turned around, threw his hands into the air, and continued walking.

Little Brother Saved and The Strange Man Was Arrested and Charged
Joshua immediately called the cops afterward, and after providing the authorities with the man’s description, they found and quickly arrested 33-year-old Pedro Leandro and took him into custody.
Leandro was later charged with Abduction.
Many are praising big sister Julianne for her heroism and praising the father for teaching his children skills that could save someone’s life.
