"Noooo, don't tell them!": Woman Discovers a Loophole to Skip Long Checkout Line in Target, Sparking Debate on Social Media

Since the line at Target was too long, a woman used the in-store Starbucks to check out her grocery items. She shared her action on TikTok, causing major reactions on social media.

Though some were outraged, since many Targets have Starbucks shops within the stores, Camo (@camocamille) simply used this to her advantage.

Some commentators pointed out this was not always possible, but the most amusing ones came from those who were mad at Camo for revealing the well-kept secret.

Can You Actually Pay Target Groceries At Starbucks?

The video captured "Otherwise I'm putting everything back" shows Camo skipping the long line in Target and paying at the in-store Starbucks.

Clearly, this is a valuable hack, but, as some pointed out, this "depends on the employee if they're busy. They can say no and send you to the regular check-out."

Another person wrote:

"Coming from a target employee: not every location

does this. Carry on."

Another chimed in:

"And that's why my local Walmart and CVS both put signs up saying we can't do this anymore."

A user named Kai warned: "I absolutely loved telling people NO when they tried to do this. There's a reason why there's check-out lines. I don't like waiting at registers either."

Another person gave away their Target trick:

"I've been doing this or purchasing in electronics," claimed another TikToker. "electronics NEVER has a line tho."

Many Commentators Wanted This To Be A Secret

It appears there was a secret society of people who knew about this hack, but it was supposed to stay hidden.

Among over 2400 comments, one with the most likes said:

"Noooo, don't tell them!"

Another comment said:

"Don't give the secrets."

One person made others chuckle, writing:

"Now all the Karens are gonna bring their full cart to Starbucks."

Camo's video surpassed a million views, and though it might be a valuable hack, now that it has gone viral, it is unclear if it will be an option for much longer.

What do you think about this trick? Did you try it, or do you think this is unfair to other Target customers and Starbucks baristas?
