A Chick-fil-A worker shared her experience of having two men ask her if they could walk her to her car when her shift ended.

The woman, who goes by the name Des, works a late shift at a Chick-fil-A. In the video, she shows herself hiding in the restaurant's bathroom after closing.

Two Men, Several Hours Apart, Asked Her If They Could Walk Her To Her Car

She begins the story by explaining that earlier in her shift, a policeman came in and wanted to know what time she got off.

She admits that she told him and that he responded with “Bet,” telling her that he would be back to walk her to her car.

A few hours later, another man comes into the store. After he receives his food, he mimics the officer, asking for the time she gets off.

"He says, 'I'll be here to walk you to your car. What? No. It's too much,” she says in the clip.

She Tells Both Men When Her Shift Ended, Hides In The Bathroom After Closing

In both instances, she tells the men the actual time her shift ends but ends up hiding in the bathroom after she closed down the restaurant.

"Pls never tell people what time you get off especially when it’s a late time," - commenters warned her.

Many viewers told her that she shouldn’t have told either man the real time she gets off. They explained that you should never tell any stranger this kind of information as they could be inclined to wait for you outside and, of course, potentially harm you.

Some commenters even pointed out how suspicious the situation seemed and mentioned that it almost felt like a set-up of sorts.

Harassment Of Employees On The Rise Since The Pandemic

Harassment in the workplace by customers is not uncommon, and it has only been on the rise since the pandemic. In a survey, 44% of employees experienced some kind of harassment in the workplace. Whether it was from a customer or a co-worker.

Women were twice as likely as men to experience sexual harassment from customers or co-workers, and a majority of these instances go underreported for fear of retaliation.

Men, however, were twice as likely as women to never report any forms of harassment for fear of retaliation, which many researchers admit could skew the numbers of how many men actually experience harassment, sexual or otherwise, in the workplace.

Des posted a follow-up video about that night.

She explains that the officer came back to tell her that he was on call, but he wanted her to make sure he was still thinking about her.

Apparently, and fortunately, the second man did not return.
