Former New York City mayor and Donald Trump lawyer Rudi Giuliani made some interesting comments while on the pro-Trump channel OA, and it went beyond praising the Republican party.

The former NYC mayor told journalist Dan Ball, "Political parties do their best job when they serve the country, not when the country is serving them." Giuliani's statement would have been praised if he stopped right there.

Guiliani, who maintains a strong relationship with former president Trump, continued, "Right now, the Republican Party is a means to an objective if you want to get there through conservative party, independent party… gosh if you want to be a Democrat and vote Republican."
Things went south, considering his position

The former NYC Mayor, who was once called an American mayor in the aftermath of 9/11, continued, "I think you got to get rid of the Democrat Party, I think it's become too corrupt at the top." He doubled down, "They probably should get rid of it if they’re not hypocrites. Think of all the statues they take down because of slavery and whatever. Nobody had more to do with slavery than the Democrat Party, they were the architects of it."
Giuliani's troubles

The Daily Beast reported days ago that the accounting firm sued the former Mayor he hired to get him through his recent divorce. There have been numerous reports of Guliani's struggles to find money, with some alleging that he flew to Mar-a-Lago to beg his boss, Donald Trump, to pay him for working as Trump’s personal attorney during the summer. But, the real troubles will begin once the Georgia trial starts.
Charges against Giuliani

Guiliani is facing racketeering charges in Georgia and has already been ordered to pay more than $130,000 to Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, the 2020 election workers in Georgia accused of fraud by the former mayor. Regarding the Georgia charges, Giuliani is charged with "making false statements and soliciting false testimony, conspiring to create phony paperwork and asking state lawmakers to violate their oath of office to appoint an alternate slate of pro-Trump electors."
Plea deals in Georgia are not helping Giuliani's case

Apart from the initial four, reports claim there are six more plea deals in the works in the case of an alleged attempt to overturn the 2020 elections. Additionally, the judge presiding over the damages trial against Giuliani will tell jurors that the former Trump lawyer intentionally hid financial documents and other records, calling it "continued and flagrant disregard" of the court.
