A clever black Labrador puppy has become an internet sensation after figuring out the perfect way to get adopted - by flashing an adorable smile at everyone who passed by his kennel.

Meet the Smiling Pup
The Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana rescued three black Lab puppies from a high-kill shelter. They named the trio Burreaux, Joe, and O.
But it was Burreaux who stood out from the pack with his unique approach to winning hearts.
The Clever Trick That Changed Everything
"Once Burreaux realized that people would drop by at the shelter to take dogs home, he decided to be a good boy and to do his best to impress the visitors," the shelter staff explained.
The tiny pooch started showing off his pearly whites with a massive grin whenever someone talked to him through the kennel.

The moment they met, Burreaux jumped straight into his new family's arms, proving it was a perfect match.

But the best part? Burreaux's viral fame helped his siblings too. Both Joe and O have also found their forever homes thanks to all the attention.
The shelter even put up a board showing all their February adoptions, proving that one puppy's smile can change many lives.
