She Didn't Want to Navigate Through an Entire Hospital to Find the Customer’s Room All for a $4 Order, Even Though She Is a DoorDash Driver

A TikToker by the name of Kay(@sexcwanch) has recently started a debate on the social media platform about what should be allowed as an order, and where deliveries should take place as a DoorDash driver.

In a video captioned, “1.)Ion fw hospitals 2.)wake tf up bozo”, Kay is sitting in her car as she expresses her frustration at having to drop off a $4 order at a hospital.

In the video, she says that the customer asked her to drop the order off at their room, but she refused to do that saying, “to room what? Room who?”

Replying to a comment, she explains that she left the order with the receptionist.

In the text caption over the video, she says that the order was just $4, non-verbally showing the viewers how she felt about having to get a visitor’s name tag, navigate through an entire hospital, and find the customer’s room all for a $4 order.

Many Were Divided On Whether Or Not Kay Was In The Wrong

Viewers were divided on the matter with many agreeing with her and others ridiculing her for her attitude.

One commenter pointed out that it’s called DoorDASH, implying that the drop-off is supposed to be quick.

Another commenter said that they couldn’t believe there are people out there that actually expect this kind of service in the first place, saying “They have the AUDACITY to tip $2 and they want you to walk to the other side of the hospital through a maze to find their room. PLS.”

However, others were less impressed by her behavior, shocked to see that she signed up to be a Dasher but doesn’t want to do her job.

Others also pointed out that the customer at least tipped her, but they personally wouldn’t after now seeing her attitude about the situation.

Others told her that if she was going to feel this way, maybe she should work for Burger King instead, with one commenter even saying she should quit and find a “real job” if she felt this way about it.

Besides this, one commenter was more concerned about the price of the food. Expressing that he couldn’t believe the $4 price tag on the order from Papa John’s.

“A $4 order from Papa John's? I call BS on that”

Many agreed that this situation does merit some kind of discussion about the expectations of Dashers and other workers of food delivery services. While there is no formal research to verify or deny the validity of these stories, it’s not uncommon for delivery drivers to reveal some of the wild demands they were given when it comes to delivering someone’s food.
