A woman says that many strangers have asked her if her husband is homosexual because he’s attractive. They even go as far as to tell her that her marriage must be fake.
The woman, named Gina Miyares, explained why people think her husband, Josh Miyares, is way ‘out of her league’. And it’s because he’s fit and she’s plus-sized.
It’s worth noting that the couple is happily married, having tied the knot three years ago.
However, this doesn’t stop the surprise and shock that flashes across people’s faces when they learn that Gina and Josh are together.
Apparently, they regularly receive comments based on their appearance in relation to their marriage. Gina has described some of the comments she receives, including being told she ‘looks like a man’ and that Josh is ‘secretly homosexual’.
However, despite these remarks, the couple has learned to not take them seriously, with Gina, a resident director at a school, noting that they are very secure in their relationship.
In addition, Gina explained that her husband “absolutely loves” her curves and that she is confident in her size, while Josh enjoys leading an active lifestyle.
Josh, who works in educational programming at a school, mentioned that sometimes the comments do get to him when he isn’t feeling good about himself, but most of the time, the comments don’t bother him.
The couple has many pictures of them posing together, all smiles and love. Further solidifying the trust and appreciation they have for each other despite their differences.
They have been able to stand strong against the comments they receive from strangers, realizing what they see in each other is far better than some strangers’ shallow comments.
Since they are very secure in their relationship, they just laugh at the comments and relish being happily married to each other.
