The MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell just had a Black Friday sale, but that's nothing compared to an anonymous donation of $21,000 he received recently. Speaking to Newsweek, the election denier confirmed that he will continue the fight by using his Offense Fund.
Lindell supports Kari Lake, but not election machines
Speaking to Newsweek, Lindell said that his Offense Fund gives donations to "things like the [Kari Lake] case in Arizona" and to "get rid of the [election] machines." He also admitted that he can no longer pay for a 2 million dollar per month lawyer but is determined to fight the election machines.
Lindell's frustration
The MyPillow CEO created a Raffe Award, and its name comes from Republican Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who certified the 2020 elections. Lindell nominated several other Republicans for this "award," including Wisconsin Secretary of State Robin Vos.
Lindell vs. Arkansas
The businessman is also frustrated with Arkansas Republicans and even argued that Arkansas State Senator Kim Hammer could be another "award" winner. However, his rage is pointed at the GOP in the state in general, considering his efforts to eliminate voting machines in future elections were blocked. Lindell even claimed Arkansas was ready to "go machine-free."
Lashing out on X
Lindell spoke on X about his troubles and stated, "I'm tired of hearing about stuff about Arkansas when they work so hard down there to get rid of their machines," Lindell said. "Cleburne County goes machine-free, and some other guy that should be a Raffe Award recipient, Kim Hammers [sic], the horrible senator down there, Republican, runs to the Senate and passes a bill—' If you go to paper ballots in your county, we're defunding you.'"
Dominion vs. Lindell
In a deposition revealed in September, Lindell yelled, swore, called lawyers names, and more. The deposition from March came after Eric Coomer, former director of product strategy and security for Dominion Voting Systems, sued the MyPillow CEO. In a deposition, Lindell said, "How dare he come and sue MyPillow?" and added, "He's a scumbag for doing that."
Can't stop, won't stop
Lindell took the stage at an "Election Crime Bureau" to fight "election crime" and presented his "plan to secure our elections this August. The event took a turn for the worse after it showed Jimmy Kimmel's clip, and Lindell shouted, "No, no, no. This is the wrong one." After this glitch, Lindell told the audience how he "has developed a 'Wireless Monitoring Device' (WMD) that will detect whether voting machines are connected to the internet."
The irony was not lost
Justin Baragona from Daily Beast shared on X, “Before finally revealing his long-awaited ‘plan’ to secure elections, Mike Lindell begs attendees to donate money to his ‘Lindell Offense Fund,’ telling them it will “be the best money they ever spent” and “very private…no one’s gonna know” you gave money to his group.” Like many other social media users, the journalist wondered if WMD, which also stands for “weapons of mass destruction," was used accidentally.
