"Does waist training work?" I hear this question a lot. Contrary to popular belief, yes, waist training definitely really do work!

I'm sure though, most people looking for waist training have most likely checked out those blog sites from random individuals trying waist training for a few days or weeks and after not seeing any real results they get turned off and get the idea of a waist trainer doesn't work and believe it's simply a crazy fad. Heck, many of those blog writers haven't even tried waist training just saw random comments complaining about it.

does waist training work

I was a skeptical.

I too, presumed it was simply a dumb fad, till I in fact lost some inches off my waistline... I will provide my own individual opinion with experience from using the waist trainers.

When I started waist training at home, I was ALWAYS exercising while wearing them. This is the only reason that I was seeing the outcomes. This is the top reason people quit on waist training because they believe they will acquire a super slim waist by just sitting around and eating potato chips. NO! You absolutely need to be active while using your waist trainer.

Cardio is king.

If you do cardio exercises, you will see much greater results then those who just fooling around. Waist trainers achieve their goal by compressing everything in for you, that works great when exercising.

Does waist training flatten your stomach? With a waist trainer you can also achieve a temporary hourglass shape fix. If you have an unique occasion and want to conceal them fat rolls, it will do simply that for you. But remember, if you are not exercising, that is simply a short-lived fix!

Size matters

Many people complain about how waist clinchers are "harmful" well, I don't believe that. My cousin is a physician and just encourages me to use it with precaution. This is why you should get the right size and take it off if you are uneasy or having trouble breathing.

My Progress

I started my waist training journey with a size L (28-29"), and about a month or so later I was already at M (26-27"). Now I am about to order a S (24 inches!). And I'm feeling amazing!

I use the Shaperx waist trainer and love it! You can check it out here on Amazon.

So, does waist training work?

Yes, it worked for me and may work for anyone who does it right. Don't forget; you will only see long-term results if you are keeping active!

I wish you success in your waist training journey!
