Nashville-based beauty and lifestyle influencer Felicia Hockensmith shared on TikTok that she had $129 worth of P.F. Chang's stolen by a DoorDash delivery driver.

It is not about the money, but the principle, Felicia says

Felicia, who goes by the handle @happilyhockensmith, shared her story on TikTok. In the video, the influencer warned, "Whoever you are, you stole from the wrong one."

Felicia continued by adding that it was not about the $129 worth of food but the principles.

As many pointed out, even when she got her money back, she still had to go through a series of phone calls on an empty stomach.

The influencer talked about calling the police

The beauty and lifestyle influencer shared that they were pleasant while she was on the phone with DoorDash.

Nevertheless, she told them,"  'I should take my tail down to the police station and file a police report."

She warned the driver:

“Yep, I'm going to the police department tomorrow. I'mma find out who you are I'mma make sure you don't steal from nobody else."

The video was shared on other social media, surpassing 220k views on the first day on TikTok alone.

Felicia, who has nearly 19k followers on TikTok, got a fair amount of positive and negative comments, but many were proved wrong after she shared an update.

Felicia's follow-up video

DoorDash refunded the TikTok star, and she did not go to the police. But she still had to deal with hateful comments, so she addressed many of them while keeping a smile on her face.

Some suggested she was not a good tipper. The young woman said she tipped around 18 percent usually, often 20 to 25 percent.

The most upvoted comment fought against negativity: "The fact that they stole YOUR food that YOU paid for, and people in the comments are trying to make it your fault."

Another poster wrote: “The DoorDash driver did this to me last week, they stopped in front of my house, showed it delivered and drove away, never brought my food.”

Several commentators shared similar experiences, while others were shocked to learn that someone wrote to Felicia that this unfortunate incident happened because she "lived in a ghetto."

Reddit users were not so forgiving

The viral video also ended up on Reddit.

While some Reddit users were sympathetic, others thought the whole thing was trivial. Though the original post was deleted, the comments are still on Reddit, and some say, "It is theft," while others mocked the blogger.

Regardless, there is no doubt that the video sparked conversations about delivery service.

Felicia thanked everyone in her second video, writing, "Thanks for the engagement! You're helping me more than you realize."

She ended on a high note wishing everyone happy holidays.
