- dried hibiscus flowers – You need around 3 or 4 of these

Jamaican Hibiscus Tea Recipe
- 1 cup dried hibiscus
- 8 quarts water
- 1 cup sugar – You can change the amount of sugar if you want

- Ginger – Just a pinch
Add the sugar and 4 cups of water to a medium saucepan along with the cinnamon and ginger. Heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture boils. Remove and stir in the dried flowers. Let it sit covered for about 20 minutes. Strain the tea into a pitcher and add the remaining water and chill. You can add lime juice, orange slices or virtually anything else you want for flavor. - 4 cups boiling water
- 4 hibiscus tea bags
- 2 cups cold water
- 2 cups apple juice
- ½ cup mint leaves
Steep the tea bags and mint leaves in 4 cups of boiling water for about 10 minutes or until it is the strength that you want. Add the cold water and apple juice and refrigerate. Serve chilled.
