When you have BFFs and a girlfriend squad, you will also have major traditions. This could include a Saturday Night special where you get to watch Never Have I Ever uninterrupted. You're going to want to like the same kind of movies he does, eat the same flavor of ice cream, and probably go to the same college. Or perhaps you're going to go to wherever nearer to him.

If you're a teenager in love, it will feel like nothing else matters. You're probably going to be caught making out, or perhaps, having a blazing fight about something or other in public.

Most conflicts between parents and their teenage kids begin when the latter starts dating. The parents will, of course, be worried. Their worry will most likely manifest itself into rules and curfew and forbidden relationships, and such.

Older siblings will probably become overprotective overnight once they learn about your boyfriend. You'll be worried about how they'll start talking to your friends in a threatening manner or shooting them dark looks and such.

Younger siblings will probably want to hang out with you a lot. They'll treat your boyfriend like family and will probably embarrass you by telling your secrets. This may not seem like much, but him hearing about how you snore or fart in your sleep will definitely be shameful.

It is normal to have insecurities, especially in this day and age. Everywhere you look, you can see tall, skinny women becoming a kind of standard for beauty. If you're short and a bit heavy, you will, of course, feel inferior and not a little intimidated by the world.

If a guy tells you you're beautiful in this vulnerable moment, you're probably going to want to believe him. You'll feel better about yourself, but your happiness and contentment hinge on his opinion. You basically needed his validation.
