Christmas is considered the most festive holiday of the year, with many going all out when it comes to decorating their homes for the season.

Some people even begin decorating early. To get into the holiday spirit and admire their completed decorations, eager to show them off to their neighbors and friends.

And the Bidens are no exception.

On November 28, just 4 days after Thanksgiving, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden tweeted photos of a beautifully decorated White House for the holidays.

Dr. Biden explained that this year’s theme was meant to embody the spirit of the U.S. Constitution.

Followers of the Biden’s appreciated the gorgeous decor, which included 50 ornaments in the likeness of all 50 state birds, trees made of books, and the traditional gingerbread White House joined with another building: Philadelphia’s Independence Hall, which is known as the home of the Constitution.

However, many couldn’t help comparing this year’s theme to the Trump’s Yuletide theme in 2018, which consisted of 40 deep red trees and what many described as the ‘creepy’ underlit twig branches that lined the Colonnade hall.

Melania Trump’s theme was criticized for being much more “creepy than jolly.” Many users even saw it as a representation of the Trumps and how many people viewed them at the time, making many jokes about the decorations as soon as images started circulating online back in 2018.

All in all, the Biden’s did a really good job this year, and many praised their festive decor for the holidays, including the theme they decided to go with.

One user even admitted that they were impressed, regardless of whether or not they agreed with the administration, stating that the Biden’s did a really good job and were very impressed with the decor.

Proving that Christmas is one of the only, if not the only, holiday that is capable of this kind of agreement concerning what elected officials do.
