One man shared a now-viral video showing that one of the Walmart employees left an electronic device, known as Zebra, in his shopping bag.

Tiktoker @electroniccrafter shared that he went Christmas shopping and used a self-checkout but had help from a Walmart worker. The worker left the Walmart Zebra device that TikToker showed his followers.

He wrote:

"Oh, guys. Something bad happened."

"I went to Walmart today to get my mom this cross because it's almost Christmas time, and I wanted to get that for her."

The young man wanted to know whether the device was important and even believed he might be in trouble:

"I think someone's getting fired, or I'm getting arrested."

Considering that Zebra is around 1000 USD on Amazon, used for price and inventory checks, locating items, tracking deliveries, and completing invoices, there is no doubt that the device is essential among retailers.

The video has nearly 10 million views and numerous comments from past and current retail workers.

One TikToker wrote:

"Hi. Walmart associate here. THOSE ARE VERY IMPORTANT."

Another chimed in:

"Those are VERY important. I worked for Walmart for a while. That had everything an employee needs to do their jobs."

One TikToker certainly won't be getting the worker of the year award:

"I lose mine all the time. Walmart pharmacy technician here, those are VERY important with the new system update, we cannot fill prescriptions any other way."

It was not just Walmart employees who commented, as some wrote:

"I work at Lowe's, one time, an employee left that phone in the bed of a customer's truck after loading up a cement pallet for them."

Comments Were Creative, Apart From Being Informative

Some of the stories were too good not to be true:

"At Target, this old fella came up to me holding a zebra, saying he found it in his beer."

Some were quite concerned:

"Oh god, return immediately, they need that."

And it turns out that losing the device is quite common:

"If I had a dollar for every TC we've left in a customer's cart when loading groceries, I'd have like $15."

Despite the initial claims that someone would get fired, @electroniccrafter shared a follow-up on the story.

Someone joked that since the TikToker got his mom a cross she wanted, the cross would cancel out all the troubles.

He went back to the store and claimed that the worker was not in trouble:

"I explained what happened. He was fine."

What would you do? Would you do the right thing and return the device, keep it, try to sell it, or throw it away?
