Sometimes you just can't help but do petty things to your ex after a breakup, but one ex-wife took it a little too far in seeking revenge from her ex-husband.
Let’s take a look at all the "petty" things she did to her ex, as revealed in a Reddit post.
OP described in her post how her ex-husband treated her “horribly” for 11 years, starting with the moment he confessed his lack of love for her.
This period was a challenging one for the wife, who was pregnant and made it to work every day, yet her husband didn’t appreciate her efforts and instead said, “you aren’t doing enough for me.”
The wife started to gradually lose all her love for her husband, who she accused of “gaslighting” their children into thinking that he was the victim.
Fast forward a decade, and he’s now with his new “rich wife” who, according to the OP, are both “too cheap” to pay for kenneling their dogs on their frequent weekend trips. Instead, they ask one of the ex-wife's adult children to dog-sit, despite living at least an hour away.
Sometimes, her children invite her to see the dog she and her ex-husband once had together, but with the condition that she doesn't tell him anything about it.
“I’m sooooo cool with that,” she explains, “so while I’m there I do petty sh..t just to annoy him with him not ever knowing it was me.”
For example, she takes her ex-husband’s work badge, which hangs by his front door, and drops it behind the bookcase next to it.
She also moves things in his den from one drawer to another, knowing he's extremely particular about where everything goes. “Or he loses his sh..t,” she adds.
Another thing the wife does to annoy him is letting a little air out of one of his tires, not enough to make it flat, but just enough so that he has to stop and fill it up.
Everything seemed to be going according to plan, as a few months later, one of her children mentioned how weird their dad got mad about a tire being a little less full because it "causes uneven tire wear."
The ex-wife notes that although he’s very obsessive about tire pressure, he’s “too lazy” to check it regularly.
Finally, she reveals that her kids are clueless about the little things that bother their father, but she knows all about them, concluding the post by stating, “I know little things just stab him lol.”

Commenters had much pettier suggestions for the ex-wife.
“Move some of his furniture just an inch or two, so he'll bump into it, especially nice for a bed!” One Redditor suggested, “I can almost feel the pain in his little toe when he miscalculated the distance in the middle of the night.”
A second wrote, “Replace his coffee with decaf.”
A third shared, “Buy an anoy-a-tron device to leave taped to the back of his desk drawer. It will randomly beep and drive him crazy.”

Good for the ex-wife who gets so much satisfaction for being able to do the petty things that irritate him after 11 years of not being treated right in marriage! I know you will have to stop after some point, because enough is enough, but just imagining his reactions made my day. Both my exes were ugly little men, and the boyfriend after that (a total of 26 years of my life). I routinely picture myself in a shield with all their negative thoughts and energy going back to bother them only. That way, the consequences of their own actions ruin their days. I know if they did it to me, they will to others. It's my way of getting a little revenge, and still protecting the future victims of these males.
