The fear of the unknown can keep you stuck in a toxic relationship for a very long time, but you shouldn’t.  As a wise commenter pointed out, “It's so much better for your self esteem and mental health to treat yourself the way you deserve to be treated, rather than hope someone else is going to come along and do it for you.”

In our fast-paced world, it's easy to become obsessed with the idea that being in a hurry is a sign of success. But one Redditor reminded everyone that it's okay to take things at a slower pace and be patient, writing, “It's okay if you beat me to the pump, or if you beat me to the grocery checkout line. It's okay if you get to the freeway exit before me, or pull in front of me on the highway. I'm patient, and it's a virtue.”

It seems like everyone is trying to mimic celebrities in every aspect of their lives, with one commentator labeling it as “celebrity worship.” Another person chimed in to say that people are obsessed not only with celebrities but also with “influencers, streamers, and any other random person with a webcam.”

One person shared an interesting perspective regarding the modern-day obsession with smartphones, writing, “It's one thing to keep yourself busy, it's another to never let yourself be bored.
