Looking for DIY Clothing Hacks? Every woman wants to look fabulous and fashionable. However, often it doesn't come cheap. Just look at the prices of branded clothing and accessories; this is not within reach of most women.
Worry not, there is a lot we can do about it.
Here are 50 brilliant DIY clothing hack ideas that will make you stand out from the crowd.
Turn your old pair of jeans into a mini skirt
All you need is a pair of scissors and a sewing machine. If you are going for the rugged look, you don't even need to sew the edges. You can decorate your skirt by sewing a wide lace on the inside of the fabric on the bottom edge so it will be visible from the outside. Also, using a cheese grater to create cool holes and tears in the fabric will make it more unique.
Use cutouts to make your old boring t-shirts fabulous
There are so many ways how you can do this, either cut cool shapes out of the back of your shirt or just cut off the sleeves and make it into a tank top. To give it something special, use a colorful ribbon to tie the shoulders together from the back.

Make your tees into a skirt
Cut off the sleeves and the shoulders from a colorful shirt you never wear, sew elastic in the top edge or add a drawstring. If you have a plain color tee, you can add applications, buttons, and other accessories to make the skirt stand out more.
Turn your old clothes into a DIY purse
Whether it is a pair of jeans, an old leather jacket, or even a scarf – anything can be used to make a unique and fashionable purse. You just need to cut out the right size, sew the ends, and use buttons for closing the purse. Then add more cool buttons, decorations, ribbons, whatever it takes to personalize your new purse. You can even make a purse out of an old pillowcase!
Replace buttons
Whether it is a dress or a jacket, replacing your old plain buttons with something extravagant will make a whole new look and feel. It doesn't hurt if you sew some buttons on the fabric as well.
Update your jacket
A boring jacket will look new if you cut off the collar and shorten it so it's just below your bust – a fresh and hip look is guaranteed.
Spice up your old shoes with lace or glitter
When the color has come off from your Ballerinas or Mary Janes, cover them with superglue and install some beautiful colorful lace to cover the whole surface of the shoe. Or you could add glitter; just make sure there is plenty of it to cover the whole shoe.
Turn your maxi skirts into dresses
Just pull them over your bust and add a nice belt for a sophisticated yet sexy look.
